How it works

From a sentence to a proven result.

    Say what you need in plain words, in the desktop app or the VS Code extension, inside your own project.

  2. Majeed assembles the team

    For each role — architect, workers, tests, reviewers — Majeed picks from MajeedAI and the AI you connected, weighing quality, cost and speed, within your company's policy.

  3. The team works in parallel on your machine

    Workers build side by side on your computer. Your repository is never uploaded; only the context a task needs goes to an AI that is allowed for it.

  4. Proof, not promises

    Your own checks run, reviewers read the result when the work calls for it, and you get the proof. Nothing lands until you accept it.

Privacy

Local first. Your keys are yours. You decide what each AI may see.

In the desktop app, your code, your AI sessions and the keys you keep only on your device stay on your computer. Requests go from your computer to the AI providers you connected. Web chat, the optional cloud key vault and MajeedAI's own AI run through MajeedAI's servers. What you write in a web chat passes through them to the AI that answers. MajeedAI keeps no chat history: an answer is held there for a few minutes at most, only so that it can resume if your connection drops. It records that the request happened, which AI answered, its size and its cost.

Your code

Your repository stays on your computer and is never uploaded automatically. Only the context required for a task may be sent to an AI that is permitted for that task.

Your AI credentials

You choose where each API key lives: only on your computer, or also as an encrypted copy in your MajeedAI cloud vault so you can use it from the web while your computer is offline. Keys kept only on your device stay in your operating system's secure storage.

Web chat

Web chat, with MajeedAI's own AI or a key from your cloud vault, passes what you write to the AI that answers. MajeedAI keeps no chat history: an answer is held for a few minutes at most so it can resume after a dropped connection. A record of each request — which AI, its size and its cost — is kept.

Local only, per project

With Local only, nothing is sent to external AI: only AI running on this computer is used. It needs your own AI connected, and a company can hold all of its work to it.

Account and devices

Your account, organization, members, plan, licenses and devices are kept on MajeedAI's servers. Your desktop AI sessions — prompts, plans, output, reviews — stay on your computer.

Usage reporting

With usage reporting on, MajeedAI receives monthly counts and provider cost — never code, prompts or file paths.

Teams and companies

Policy your admin sets. Majeed applies it on every task.

A company workspace adds the rules: which kinds of AI are allowed, where company work may go, a minimum depth and budgets. The work still happens on each person's machine; the company decides the rules every desktop follows.

  1. Allowed AI for company work — allow or deny each kind of AI connection, and deny named providers.
  2. Privacy for company work — Standard, or Local only for every project of the company.
  3. A minimum depth — risky work cannot go below it, and Majeed says why.
  4. Budgets and audit — budgets per member with warnings before premium work and, on Enterprise, a tamper-evident audit log you can verify and export.

Questions, answered plainly.

Do I need an account?

Yes. Create an account here, install the desktop app and sign in to it; the work then runs on your computer, in your own repository. Each computer you sign in on is one of your plan's devices.

What is the difference between Majeed and MajeedAI?

Majeed is the AI team lead you talk to: it plans, picks an AI for each role, explains its choices and asks you when a decision is yours. MajeedAI is the product, and also the platform's own AI that comes with your plan. Majeed can choose MajeedAI for a role, or an AI you connected.

What am I paying for?

Your plan: what it permits is listed with each plan below. AI you use with your own keys is billed to you directly by those AI providers; MajeedAI never resells them.

Where do my API keys live?

You choose where each API key lives: only on your computer, or also as an encrypted copy in your MajeedAI cloud vault so you can use it from the web while your computer is offline. Keys kept only on your computer stay in its secure storage and never reach MajeedAI's cloud.

Does my code leave my computer?

Your repository stays on your computer and is never uploaded automatically. Only the context required for a task may be sent to an AI that is permitted for that task. With Local only, nothing is sent to external AI at all.

Does MajeedAI keep my web chats?

MajeedAI keeps no chat history. While an answer is being written, a copy of it is held for a short time on MajeedAI's servers, so a browser that loses its connection can resume it: the answer's text, its token counts, any tool requests the AI made and, for a chat with a vault key, that key's last four characters. Never what you wrote. That copy is deleted automatically about 1 minute after the answer is finished (never more than 3 minutes), or 3 minutes after its last update if it stops unfinished.

Can I use my own local AI?

Yes, and it is optional. A model server on your computer — LM Studio, vLLM or Ollama, for example — can serve your team. Nothing is installed for you. With your own AI connected, a project can be Local only, so every AI in it runs on your computer.

Can I connect my Claude Code, Codex or Gemini CLI subscription?

Not yet. Each is shown as in terms review until its provider permits the integration, and none can be connected before then. A plan you connect will serve only you. The providers' APIs work today with your own key.

What if MajeedAI's own AI is unavailable?

Your own connected AI keeps working, and Majeed tells you plainly. Every answer says which AI gave it.

Relax or Advanced: do I have to choose?

No. In the desktop app they are two views of the same session. Relax, the default, shows progress, decisions and proof; Advanced shows the whole AI team at work. Switching never re-runs anything.
